The Cathedral Center Events
Canceled: 2020 Pathway Home Event
Due to COVID-19, Cathedral Center’s 2020 Pathway Home event is canceled. Your health is of the utmost importance to us, as is that of all our volunteers, guests, staff, and community.
Each year, our Pathway Home celebrates individuals and families whose homeless experience ended and thanks those who take action to ensure that everyone has a safe place to call home. Pathway Home also raises critical funds to support Cathedral Center’s mission to end homelessness, one life at a time.
Although we cannot meet in person at this time and enjoy all that Pathway Home is, we invite you to be a Pathway Home. Your continued support will help to provide:
- Emergency shelter and emergency Flexible Housing
- Case management services, and assistance with employment via our Women’s Independence
- Nutritional daily meals
- Housing placement, access to benefits and other social services
- Hope and a Pathway Home
COVID-19 has stopped many things in our community; it has not stopped homelessness. Your continued partnership will help to provide a safe environment for women and families with children.
You are a Pathway Home.
If you have any questions, please contact Ellen Kendall, director of resource development, at (414) 831-0394 ext. 2121, or at email@example.com. To be a Pathway Home, please visit www.cathedral-center.org/donate
GLITZ & GLAM – SAVE THE DATE
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2020
This fun wine and shopping night out is held annually at the Access Boutique and Mainstream Boutique in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. For the first 5 years this event was hosted by the Novel Women book club and has raised up to $12,000 annually in support of our Women’s Independence Program.
In 2020 our new hosts are the AAUW – American Association of University Women – again held in the Mainstream and Access Boutiques, with a portion of sales generously donated by owner Jeanette Dvorak.
The 2020 Glitz & Glam event will be just in time for the holidays!
Updates will posted on Cathedral Center’s website, on social media and print venues as details become available. In the meantime, Cathedral Center’s Women’s Independence Program is still in need of financial support to assist women to secure employment and remove barriers, including one- time financial stipends to move more quickly into housing.
