Empowerment Challenge 2021

Challenging Our Community to Empower Women and Families

$30,000 IN MATCHING FUNDS SET THE CHALLENGE

Cathedral Center's Empowerment Challenge takes place from March 1-8, 2021. During this weeklong online fundraising event, we 'challenge' our community to support our efforts to provide empowering opportunities for women and families whom we serve. This year’s goal is to raise $60,000. Our Empowerment Challenge coincides with International Women’s Day (IWD) that is celebrated globally on March 8. This year's IWD theme is #ChooseToChallenge – and when you do, your online financial gift to Cathedral Center’s Empowerment Challenge will be matched up to $30,000!

Thanks to the generous support from the Peter Geisert Giving Foundation with $20,000 in matching funds, and from the William N. and Janice V. Godfrey Family Foundation Trust with $10,000 in matching funds, online financial donations made to the Empowerment Challenge, March 1-8, 2021 will be matched up to $30,000!

This past year we have been aware of the increased struggles of many, to maintain safe housing.
The Cathedral Center continues to serve those women and families most in need with shelter and
guidance towards a sustainable life. This is why the Foundation supports the Cathedral Center’s
Empowerment Challenge – and why you should, too.”
William Frazier, Godfrey Family Foundation Trust
