Emergency Shelter After months of living unstably in shelters, hotels, and even his car, Terry, a single father with three daughters, arrived at our emergency shelter. His housing instability was the result of multiple challenges, including substance abuse, chronic health issues, and a fixed income from SSI and caretaker benefits.
